for exhaust drone...resonators did. I've seen though that the '96's had less sound insulation material in the rear hatch. It's basically the bare metal and plastic panels with not much insulation anywhere. I added three layers where the factory had and put egg crate foam stuffed down into the hollow areas. Plan to move forward with it. Tar smell goes away rapidly and it's $16 at Lowes for a roll.
